Jay Gaumer : Worship

Kathy and I joined Fellowship in 1997 and in 1999 I began serving as an interim worship leader. In 2000 I was called as Worship Pastor.  It is an honor to serve God in this way. It is my desire to bring an offering of praise that would be pleasing to God and would draw others to lift up His name.

Kathy and I met at Central Missouri State University while working on our Music Degrees. We were married February 12, 1983 and have since been blessed with three children; Jason and Teron, 18 and Kanthika, (Bow) 14. Teron is currently working on an Associate of Arts in Music with plans to be a missionary intern in Japan next summer. Jason is heading for Teen Mania's Honor Academy in Lindale, TX in August, 2008, to serve as an intern for Acquire the Fire events as well as other ministries. He is hoping to become involved with the Honor Academy's School of Worship. Kanthika is being home schooled and is active in the youth ministry of Fellowship. Kathy keeps very busy working in the home and playing the part of my music secretary; I would be in trouble without her!

In addition to my responsibilities in worship I also work for the FAA as an Airspace and Procedure Specialist and Air Traffic Controller. I have been with the agency just over 21 years.
