Introduction
The Spiritual Disciplines are God’s pathways where we can expect to encounter His transforming grace. The most transforming practice available to us is the disciplined input of Scripture into our lives. No spiritual discipline is more important than the input of God’s Word. Nothing can substitute for it. There is simply no healthy Christian life apart from a diet of the milk and meat of Scripture.
God's 'New Year Resolution'
Introduction
One definition of “resolution” is “a firm decision to do something”. With us, a resolution is akin to a wish or desire. With God is it a decree! God saved you with a purpose, goal and objective in mind – to conform you to the image of His Son, Jesus (Rom 8:29).
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, (Rom 8:29).
